Tesla Introduces New Features and Products

Tesla, the leading electric vehicle manufacturer, has recently unveiled a series of new features and products that are sure to excite its customers.

In a move that hints at potential vehicle and energy product milestones, Tesla has introduced new graphic assets. These include a trophy icon and a 1 million Powerwall badge, suggesting that the company might be tying these challenges to achievements related to both its vehicles and energy products.

The Tesla mobile app update (version 4.48.5) includes a feature called "Tesla Challenges," which appear to function like digital achievements. These challenges could involve tasks like frequent Supercharging or testing Full Self-Driving (FSD) features in exchange for rewards.

Tesla has also introduced a feedback survey tool within the Tesla app, available only through the Tesla website. This tool allows owners to report issues related to FSD, service visits, Supercharging, deliveries, and robotaxi experiences. Each submission generates an ECHO number, which Tesla uses to track and respond to feedback.

The app's code indicates that support for the Model Y L has been expanded to all regions, possibly preparing for international deliveries such as those to Canada. Two new wheel options have been added for Model Y owners: 21-inch Arachnid 2.0 wheels for the Performance variant and 19-inch Machina wheels designed for the Model Y L.

The Model Y Performance was recently unveiled for the European and Middle East markets, and the Model Y L is currently in production at Giga Shanghai and is expected to be delivered in September. However, the Model Y L is not expected to launch in the U.S. until late 2026, if at all. The BayberryE80 and MY2025cnplus Model Y variants are planned to launch in the USA in early 2025.

Moreover, the app includes references to ride-summoning capabilities, including the use of Bluetooth and location services for passenger pickup. This indicates Tesla is laying the groundwork for an in-app ride-hailing feature.

Lastly, Tesla has added a new Silk Road Silver paint option, tagged as #2d2c2d, to the app. The sleek silver hue of the Silk Road Silver paint option could become a popular choice among buyers looking for a premium aesthetic.

These new features and products are a testament to Tesla's commitment to innovation and its dedication to providing its customers with the best possible experience.
