Newcomer in place of Woltemade's exit: Bouanani before his move to VfB Stuttgart
VfB Stuttgart on the Brink of Signing Algerian Talent Bouanani
VfB Stuttgart, the German football club, is reportedly close to securing the services of Algerian international Badredine Bouanani. The transfer agreement between the club and Bouanani's current team, OGC Nice, has been reached, according to reliable sources.
Bouanani, who has represented Algeria's national team five times, has been a standout performer in the French Ligue 1. Last season, he made a total of 37 appearances, scoring five goals and providing three assists in eight Europa League games.
The transfer fee for Bouanani is expected to be around 20 million euros, a significant sum that has been bolstered by the sales of Enzo Millot and Nick Woltemade, which brought in approximately 120 million euros for the club. However, it seems that the money from these transfers has not yet been spent.
The medical check for Bouanani is still pending, but once this is completed, the transfer is expected to be finalised by Monday, given that VfB Stuttgart has until Monday evening to present new signings.
Bouanani, who has also represented France's youth national teams, has decided to play for Algeria's national team. He can play on the right wing and in the attacking midfield, providing versatility to the Stuttgart squad.
Trainer Sebastian Hoeneß has been eagerly awaiting the arrival of a new striker since Woltemade's departure to England. The sporting director, Fabian Wohlgemuth, is the distributor who has signed Bouanani's contract with VfB Stuttgart until 2030. Despite this, Wohlgemuth is not providing any information about the transfer.
Bouanani's market value, according to "transfermarkt.de", is around seven million euros. This suggests that Stuttgart have secured a player with significant potential at a reasonable price.
It is worth noting that any external content displayed by VfB Stuttgart may transmit personal data to third-party providers. This is outlined in the club's Privacy Policy.
As the transfer window draws to a close, it appears that Fabian Wohlgemuth is delivering on his promises, bringing in a promising talent to strengthen Stuttgart's squad. The question remains, will Bouanani be the key to unlocking success for Stuttgart this season?
