1.FC Nuremberg Signs Finnish Midfielder Adam Markhiev

In a move that is set to bolster their midfield, German club 1.FC Nuremberg has announced the signing of Adam Markhiev from Cypriot club Aris Limassol. The 23-year-old Finnish U-national player will join the team just before the transfer deadline, replacing Caspar Jander who was recently transferred to FC Southampton.

The Sporting Director of the club, Joti Chatzialexiou, made the announcement, stating that Markhiev was one of their top targets to replace Jander.

Prior to joining 1.FC Nuremberg, Markhiev played for FC Liefering, with his contract there terminated in June 2023. Before that, he had a stint with Aris Limassol in Cyprus.
