Mercedes-Benz Opens Temporary Showroom in Cebu City as Permanent Dealership Takes Shape
A new chapter in the Mercedes-Benz story in the Philippines is unfolding, as a temporary showroom opens in Cebu City, with a permanent dealership under construction in Mandaue City.
The temporary Mercedes-Benz showroom, managed by the Gateway Group under Autowelt Inc., has commenced operations at Unit 135, NUSTAR Resort and Casino, Kawit Island, South Road Properties, Cebu City starting August 2025. Meanwhile, the temporary service center for aftersales is located at Vicente Rama Avenue corner Dr. Pablo U. Abella Street, Cebu City.
In Mandaue City, a permanent Mercedes-Benz dealership is being constructed along Ouano Avenue in the North Reclamation Area. The new facility is expected to open within six to nine months from the opening of the temporary showroom, bringing the brand’s latest retail concept to the region. This new dealership aims to provide an immersive customer experience, reflecting the brand’s commitment to innovation and excellence.
The new development marks the Gateway Group's expansion of Mercedes-Benz's presence in Visayas and Mindanao. The Gateway Group, which has already made a significant impact in the region with its various businesses, is now a radiant star at NUSTAR Resort and Casino.
It's important to note that the temporary Mercedes-Benz service center at V. Rama cor. Pablo Abella Street, Cebu City, is not part of the Gateway Group's operations at NUSTAR Resort and Casino. The temporary service center is also not located in Mandaue City or the North Reclamation Area.
The completion of the permanent Mercedes-Benz dealership along Ouano Avenue is eagerly anticipated, as it will provide a more permanent solution for sales and service in the region. The exact location of the permanent dealership will be announced in due course.
