La Nuciá, a community centre dedicated to serving senior citizens, has announced its autumn programme and an exciting cultural trip. Registration for the programme, which runs until September 12, is now open.

The autumn programme, taking place at La Casilla centre, offers a total of nine monthly activities. Highlights include the "Memory workshop for seniors" starting on Tuesday, September 16, and running until December. Led by psychologist Laura Ortiz, this workshop aims to boost memory, attention, and reasoning through practical exercises.

For those looking to bridge the digital gap, intermediate and beginners' computer classes are available. The intermediate classes take place on Thursdays from 9am to 10.30am, while beginners can learn digital tasks such as managing emails, downloading photos, booking medical appointments, and more on Wednesdays from 11am to 12.30pm. These workshops are taught by students from the Acción Inserta Nou Espai I project.

Places for the workshop are limited and require registration. Tickets for the anniversary celebration, set to take place on Tuesday, September 30, are already available at the centre. La Casilla will celebrate its 11th anniversary with live music and activities.

In addition to the workshops, the autumn programme includes a variety of activities such as gymnastics, yoga, creative writing, active walks, dance, theatre, language exchange, bingo, and arts/therapeutic workshops. Extra workshops and events are scheduled, including "Computer courses for seniors" at La Nucía's Escuela de Oficios.

Meanwhile, a cultural trip to Spain, Andorra, and France is planned from Sunday, October 13 to Friday, October 18. The itinerary includes destinations such as Puigcerdà, Andorra, Mont-Louis, and Montblanc. The trip includes return coach transport, transfers, full-board accommodation in a three-star hotel in Puigcerdà, insurance and taxes. Prices for the cultural trip are €485 for members and €510 for non-members.

Gymnastics, yoga, and active walks will begin mid-September, with the rest of the activities starting shortly after. Registrations can be made from 9am to 1.30pm and from 5pm to 8pm. Don't miss out on this opportunity to learn, grow, and explore with La Nuciá's autumn programme and cultural trip!
