New Release from Christopher Ward: The Twelve 660

Christopher Ward, the British watchmaker with Swiss roots, has unveiled its latest offering – The Twelve 660. This new watch is a testament to the brand's watchmaking prowess and its commitment to delivering high-quality timepieces at affordable price points.

The Twelve 660 is a 38mm watch, crafted from stainless steel, with a case height of 6.6mm. It will be available in four vibrant colours: blue, white, green, and black, with the black option featuring a black PVD case. To complement these colour options, various bracelets and rubber straps will also be offered.

The watch's design is a nod to luxury watchmakers like Vacheron Constantin, but at a fraction of the cost. The dial is simpler compared to usual models, lending a sense of simplicity to the design. The seconds hand is absent, resulting in a shorter two-hand stack.

The Twelve 660 is powered by a manually wound Sellita SW210-1b movement, which has been substantially reworked in-house by Christopher Ward. The movement, like the watch itself, exudes a sense of understated elegance.

The watch does not have a screw-down crown, instead featuring a push-pull option. The latest bracelet design of The Twelve 660 boasts a reworked butterfly clasp, one of the sleekest examples of such design.

The wearing experience of The Twelve 660 is comfortable and unassuming, offering one of the most comfortable experiences you'll ever see. However, it's worth noting that the watch has a water resistance of only 30m.

The price of The Twelve 660 varies depending on the material and strap, ranging from £1,250 to £1,495 in GBP. In USD, the price ranges from $1,495 to $1,790, and in AUD (approx.), it ranges from $2,600 to $3,100. Despite its luxury-inspired design, The Twelve 660 remains an affordable option for watch enthusiasts.

Christopher Ward has been making waves in the watch industry with its high-profile releases featuring luxury watchmaking features at affordable price points. The Twelve 660 is no exception, offering a taste of luxury without the hefty price tag.
