Online gambling expands at MGM Grand with the introduction of the Family Feud-themed casino game on the internet
In an exciting new development, MGM Resorts International and Playtech have expanded their "Live from Vegas" partnership to include the live streaming of the popular game show, "Family Feud". This move marks a significant diversification of content and aims to capture new audiences in regulated international markets.
The live streaming of "Family Feud" is happening from a casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, operated by MGM Resorts. This is not the first time the casino floor has been used for live streaming, with games such as blackjack, roulette, and baccarat being streamed since June.
Vik Shrestha, Vice President of Online Gaming Operations at MGM Resorts, stated that the move represents an attempt to diversify content and capture new audiences. He further added that the partnership is a step towards combining Las Vegas style with global iGaming technology.
"Family Feud" is the first branded game-show format to join the live streaming lineup at the MGM Grand. The game-show format is being streamed live from a Strip casino, making it the first game-show format to be streamed live from a Strip casino to international players.
According to Shrestha, the move by MGM Resorts and Playtech is part of their ongoing efforts to innovate and provide unique experiences for their audience. The international streaming of "Family Feud" is expected to bring a fresh and exciting element to the gaming experience, attracting a wider audience and reinforcing MGM Resorts' position as a leader in the iGaming industry.
