Brooklinen Expands Its Reach with "Spaces by Brooklinen" Marketplace
Direct-to-consumer bedding brand Brooklinen has taken a new step in its journey, launching a marketplace called "Spaces by Brooklinen." This move is an expansion of the company's commitment to curate the best home goods in a one-platform solution, according to Rich Fulop, co-founder and CEO of Brooklinen.
The new marketplace offers a curated selection of products from partner brands, including furniture brand Floyd, plant brand The Sill, and publishing company Taschen. The first partner brand offered on the platform is West Elm.
Brooklinen's expansion into other categories follows the trend set by other home goods brands like Casper, which have ventured into electronics and CBD products. The marketplace features three distinct aesthetics: Relaxed Industrial, Earthy Minimalist, and Modern Glam.
When Brooklinen was founded in 2014, the primary goal was to create comfortable sheets that were affordable. Now, the founders, Rich and Vicki Fulop, aim to extend their offerings to the rest of the home.
Unlike developing new products itself, Brooklinen is using a marketplace model to expand into other categories through partner brands. A Brooklinen spokesperson confirmed that the company will earn a portion of the proceeds from the products it helps sell on its platform.
Vicki Fulop, co-founder and chief communications officer of Brooklinen, stated that the company is expanding its offerings to provide a wide range of products for customers' moments of leisure. She added that the products available on Spaces by Brooklinen are "thoroughly researched" to ensure they align with Brooklinen's own values.
Customers can purchase products on Spaces by Brooklinen individually or comprehensively. This means they can choose to buy a single item or a whole collection that fits their preferred aesthetic.
As Brooklinen continues to grow and evolve, it's clear that the company is committed to providing its customers with high-quality, affordable home goods. With the launch of Spaces by Brooklinen, customers can now find everything they need to create a comfortable and stylish home under one roof.
