Open-door event at the Children's Academy of Fulda on September 25, inviting all for a burst of creativity
On September 13, 2025, the Children's Academy Fulda (CAF) will host an Open House Day, inviting creative minds of all ages to explore and participate in a variety of activities. One of the highlights of the day will be a unique art workshop led by Sandra Richter, the Art School Director of CAF.
Titled "Classical Art vs. DADA", this workshop follows the spirit of Dadaism, emphasising creativity and unconventionality. Participants are encouraged to step out of their comfort zones and embrace the unexpected, creating collages using newspaper clippings, colorful images, and found objects.
The focus of the workshop is not on the final product, but on the joy of creation. Whether you're a seasoned artist or a complete beginner, no prior knowledge is required to join in the fun. Sandra Richter promises that by the end of the workshop, everyone will leave with a small masterpiece under their arm.
The Open House Day at CAF will take place from 13:00 to 17:30. Visitors are invited not just to observe, but to participate in the activities on offer. In addition to the art workshop, guided tours of the Walkable Heart will take place every half hour between 13:30 and 17:00.
Entry to the museum and participation in art school activities during the Open House Day are free. This is a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in art, learn new skills, and meet like-minded individuals. So, mark your calendars and join us at the Children's Academy Fulda on September 13, 2025, for a day filled with creativity and inspiration.
