Kombi Pool Paffrath Extends Opening Hours
Beginning September 1, 2025, the Kombi pool Paffrath will extend its opening hours, offering more opportunities for swimming to the public. The Bathing Operations Company, responsible for managing the pool, has announced these changes on their official website (www.baeder-gl.de).
Despite facing personnel shortages, particularly in lifeguarding, the Bathing Operations Company has managed to maintain a safe and smooth operation throughout the season. To counter this trend, they are focusing on targeted youth promotion, internal training measures, and cooperations. Manfred Habrunner, Managing Director of the Bathing Operations Company, emphasized the importance of strengthening the training and recruitment of specialists in the field of bathing operations in the long term.
The new opening hours for the indoor and outdoor area of Kombi pool Paffrath are as follows: Thursdays from 6:15 AM to 9:00 PM. This extended schedule also applies to the outdoor area, including the heated 50m outdoor pool, on Tuesdays as well.
The digital ticketing system, introduced this year, was well-received, allowing bathers to purchase tickets online with ease. Approximately 70,000 bathers visited the outdoor pool during this season, with the Milchborntal outdoor pool and the Kombi pool Paffrath having numerous guests.
It's worth noting that the Kombi pool Paffrath will remain open for swimming under the open sky, providing a refreshing experience to those who enjoy outdoor swimming. The extended opening hours are part of the efforts by the Bathing Operations Company to provide more opportunities for swimming and enhance the overall swimming experience.
