The Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism of Baden-Württemberg has announced a new funding call, named "The Chance: Further Education Scouts." This call, which falls under the Education and Science sector, will run from 1st January 2026 to 31st December 2028.

Twelve further education scouts will be funded as part of this initiative. These scouts will play a crucial role in supporting the regional networks for vocational training, offering neutral first and guidance counselling on further education questions. Their main focus will be on providing guidance for vocational training in the respective regions.

The further education scouts will build on the existing regional offices for vocational training, aiming to represent a targeted further development in this field. In addition to their counseling role, they will also take on other important tasks in the field of vocational training.

Organizations interested in applying for funding can submit their applications to the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism of Baden-Württemberg by 28th September 2025. This includes the Chambers of Commerce (Wirtschaftskammern), who can apply for subsidies covering 75 percent of expenses related to further training for trainers within companies that relate to trainer qualifications.

For more information, please contact the Press Office or the Citizen's Representative of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism. Their contact details are provided on the ministry's official website.

This initiative is a significant step towards enhancing the quality and accessibility of vocational training in Baden-Württemberg, providing a valuable opportunity for organizations to contribute to this important field.
