Overnight Sanitization at Gujarat Hospital Before Prime Minister's Arrival Following Bridge Disaster

In the aftermath of the tragic cable suspension bridge collapse in Morbi, Gujarat, which claimed the lives of 134 people, including 47 children, the focus has shifted towards the renovation of the local civil healthcare facility. The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, is scheduled to visit Morbi today to meet with the survivors of the disaster.

The renovation, which took place overnight before the Prime Minister's visit, has attracted criticism from opposition parties, including the Indian National Congress (INC) and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). The opposition parties have accused the ruling BJP of focusing on event management and ensuring a "photoshoot" for the Prime Minister.

The AAP, in particular, has been pushing hard to emerge as a major player in the Gujarat polls this year. They tweeted photos of the renovation, accusing the BJP of focusing on event management instead of effective work. The AAP also stated that if the BJP had worked effectively in the past 27 years, there would have been no need for the midnight renovation of the medical facility.

The renovation efforts included repainting of walls and ceilings, replacement of water coolers, and changing of bedsheets in the wards where bridge accident victims are admitted. However, despite the clean-up, signs of the previous state, such as old water coolers and damaged walls and ceilings, were still visible.

NDTV reported that some work was stopped following an outcry by the Opposition parties over the renovation exercise. The opposition parties, including the Congress and the AAP, have expressed their disapproval of the midnight renovation of the medical facility.

The AAP has criticized the BJP's focus on event management and lack of effective work in the past. The party has been vocal about their intentions to emerge as a major player in the Gujarat polls this year, and the controversy surrounding the renovation of the Morbi civil healthcare facility could potentially bolster their campaign.

Over 100 injured individuals are being treated, many at the Morbi civil healthcare facility. The Prime Minister's visit to Morbi is intended to meet with the survivors of the bridge collapse disaster. As the nation waits for the Prime Minister's address, the controversy surrounding the renovation of the Morbi civil healthcare facility continues to make headlines.
