Overnight Vigil by Police for Giant Cobra, King Python

On Thursday evening, a one-meter-long king python was discovered at the CVJM youth camp in Michelstadt. The snake was found by camp participants, who alerted the local authorities.

The police officers from the Erbach police station quickly responded and transported the king python in a bucket with air holes. They ensured the safety and well-being of the snake during its stay at the station.

It was revealed that the king python was originally kept by a private individual. The police intend to move the non-venomous snake to a suitable habitat, as it is not native to the region.

The king python, native to the tropics of West and Central Africa, primarily feeds on birds and small mammals like mice or rats. The discovery of this exotic reptile caused quite a stir among the camp participants and the local community.

The king python spent the night at the Erbach police station before being prepared for transportation to its new home. The police officers will ensure that the king python is safely relocated to a suitable habitat where it can thrive.
