In Yakutia, the popular cash assistance program for large families is set to return next year, pending budget allocations. The initiative, administered by the Ministry of Labor, has been instrumental in supporting numerous families in the region.

The program, which provides one-time cash payments to eligible families, has seen a significant increase in beneficiaries this year. The change led to a doubling of the number of beneficiaries compared to last year, with approximately 2000 large families utilising the program in the first half of 2025.

The program's popularity suggests continued support for large families in Yakutia. In fact, the total amount allocated for this program in Yakutia this year is approximately 500 million rubles.

Notably, the payment amount for this program was increased by 1.5 times to 300,000 rubles at the beginning of 2025, thanks to the initiative of the Republican leader Ramazan Abdulatipov. Moreover, the purposes for which the payment can be used have been significantly expanded in Yakutia.

The application acceptance for the program ended on September 4, and all applications received will be processed according to established procedures. For families who missed the deadline, there's good news - they can apply for the program next year, subject to budget allocations.

It's worth mentioning that the program initially offered land plots as assistance, but has been fully implemented as cash payments in Yakutia this year. No changes to the program's purpose or usage restrictions have been announced for next year.

The continued implementation of this program underscores Yakutia's commitment to supporting large families and ensuring they have the resources they need to thrive. As budget allocations for next year are considered, the hope is that this vital support will continue.
