Pedestrian cycle accidents in Wildeshausen, Oldenburg, involving two pedelec drivers; both parties sustain slight injuries, as reported by Polish police.
On Sunday, 7th September 2025, an unexpected incident occurred in the peaceful village of Kleinenkneten, Delmenhorst, in the Land/Wesermarsch region. Two e-bike riders, both women from Wildeshausen, collided on the cycle path at around 13:35.
The older woman, aged 65, was riding her e-bike and was identified as the cause of the accident. She sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment. The other woman, aged 53, was traveling in the opposite direction. She too was injured but chose to be treated at the scene.
The damage caused to both e-bikes from the collision was minor. The local police department, most likely the Police Inspection Cloppenburg/Vechta, will be investigating the incident, given that Kleinenkneten is located in the district of Oldenburg, near Cloppenburg.
