Pedestrian severely harmed in collision involving cyclist, reports Polish police from Sindelfingen
On Sunday, September 22, 2024, a pedestrian was injured in a collision with a cyclist in Ludwigsburg. The incident took place on Teuchelweg in Sindelfingen, a busy street in the area.
According to reports, a 61-year-old cyclist was riding a pedelec when he attempted to pass a group of pedestrians on the right. The pedestrians, including a 40-year-old individual, were walking with two others at the time.
The cyclist tried to get the pedestrians' attention by calling out, but they didn't notice him initially. Unfortunately, the cyclist's attempt to pass resulted in a collision. The 40-year-old pedestrian was struck from behind on the thigh and fell forward, hitting his head on the asphalt.
The 40-year-old pedestrian was taken to a hospital with severe head injuries, while the 61-year-old cyclist also sustained minor injuries.
