Performing a personally written song, the local reform mayor showcases an unusual spectacle at a party gathering.

In Birmingham, the Reform UK party held its conference, featuring the presence of two notable figures - Dame Andrea Jenkyns and Nadine Dorries.

Nigel Farage welcomed Nadine Dorries onto the stage, a woman who has made a crossover from politician into celebrity. Dorries, known for her successful career in politics and literature, has served in the cabinet as culture secretary and has sold over three and a half million books. She has also appeared on I'm a Celebrity.

Dorries was joined by Dame Andrea Jenkyns, a woman with a background in the real world who has worked her way up to success. Jenkyns, who served as a deputy culture minister in the Conservative Party, took the stage in a blue, sequinned jumpsuit with a bedazzled Union Jack broach.

Jenkyns, who is a soprano, according to her website, performed her self-written song 'Insomniac' at the conference. During her performance, she made a reference to the Labour government, adding a political edge to the musical event.

Interestingly, 'Insomniac' was co-written by Jenkyns 20 years ago with a friend. She also recorded a pop album named Ilyis in 2006.

The conference also highlighted Reform UK's efforts to address its weakness of a lack of government experience. The party is keen to present a more diverse and experienced team to the public.

In all, the Reform UK conference was an event filled with music, politics, and the promise of change.
