Philadephia Phillies extend an invitation to a youthful spectator for a face-to-face encounter with Harrison Bader, following a heated argument over a home run souvenir that gained widespread attention online.

In an unexpected turn of events at the Philadelphia Phillies' game against the Miami Marlins on Friday night, a young fan wearing Phillies gear and celebrating his birthday caught Harrison Bader's home run ball. However, the joy was short-lived as a man initially took the ball from the boy, only to later give it to a woman who approached them.

The incident, reminiscent of a similar one at the U.S. Open, quickly went viral on social media, sparking widespread criticism. The man who initially took the ball from the boy has not been identified, but he later apologised on social media, claiming he has returned the ball.

The boy's day took a positive turn when Marcus Lemonis, CEO of Camping World and star of CNBC reality TV show "The Profit," offered to pay for the young fan and his family to attend the World Series. The boy's encounter with Bader resulted in him going home with a signed bat.

Later in the game, the boy received a prize pack and another baseball from a member of the Marlins' staff. Fans sitting near the boy in the stands cheered as he received his prizes. The boy also received additional prizes, including a signed bat from Bader and a prize pack from the Marlins' staff.

To top it all off, a social media user posted that the boy who caught Bader's home run ball also won an RV. The incident has gained attention due to its similarity to the U.S. Open incident, where a man took a tennis player's hat from a young fan and faced widespread criticism.

In a heartwarming end to the story, the boy met with Bader outside of the Phillies' clubhouse after the game, where he was presented with his signed bat. The boy's birthday wish turned out to be a day he would never forget, thanks to the kindness of Bader and the generosity of Marcus Lemonis.
