In the heart of one of Berlin's most populous districts, Pankow, a new residential and commercial complex is being developed. The project, located at Florastraße 79/79A, is being spearheaded by the GbR Florastraße 79 / 79A.

The Florakiez quarter, known for its renovated old buildings, green inner courtyards, and tree-lined streets, will soon welcome another addition. The new building will house 25 apartments and a community of residents.

The immediate vicinity of the construction site offers numerous amenities, including cafes, small shops, playgrounds, schools, and cultural institutions. Notably, the Bürgerpark Pankow and the Schlosspark Schönhausen are within walking distance from the construction site.

JESSEN Immobilien GmbH is the company responsible for the development of this project, with SEKA AG taking on the role of the general contractor for the construction execution.

While details about sustainable construction methods and a potential marketing strategy for the project remain undisclosed, one feature that has been confirmed is an underground garage, providing parking spaces for future residents. As of now, no concrete timeline for the start of deep or shell construction has been published.

Interestingly, the plot was previously used as a parking lot, marking a significant transformation for the area. However, information about possible balconies or terraces in the apartments remains scarce.

Preparatory work, including soil loosening and breaking up the surface, has been visible for several months, hinting at the imminent start of construction. As the project progresses, more details are expected to be revealed, promising an exciting development in the highly sought-after Pankow.
