The club hosts regular games in Frankenheim every Thursday at 6:00 PM at the community center, and in Vacha at the Kellerhaus inn. For those in Kaltensundheim, games and training sessions take place at the sports clubhouse every Wednesday from 5:45 PM to 7:00 PM, with the exception of school holidays.
Members can engage in competitive matches against other club members, providing valuable experience on the chessboard. The club also offers opportunities to participate in tournaments and showcase skills, making it an ideal place for those seeking to challenge themselves.
Training sessions are held in various locations: Frankenheim, Kaltensundheim, and Vacha. In Vacha, sessions are scheduled for specific dates throughout the year, including August 29th, September 12th, September 26th, October 10th, October 24th, November 7th, November 21st, December 5th, and December 19th, 2025. Training for children and youth in Vacha starts at 5:00 PM, while sessions for all interested individuals begin at 6:00 PM.
Training sessions in Kaltensundheim are also available for children and youth. However, the specific dates for training and games after the New Year have yet to be announced.
The VfB Vacha Chess Club encourages all interested individuals who wish to learn or improve their chess skills to join. The club does not specify any prerequisites for joining, suggesting it is open to players at all skill levels.
