Scott Seiver Ties Record for Most Bracelets in a Single WSOP Series

Scott Seiver has made poker history by tying the record for the most bracelets won in a single World Series of Poker (WSOP) Series. The American poker player now shares the record with Puggy Pearson, Phil Hellmuth, Ted Forrest, Phil Ivey, and Jeff Lisandro, each of whom have achieved this impressive feat.

Seiver's latest victory came in Event #72: $10,000 No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw Championship at the 2024 WSOP. His first prize of $411,041 adds to his already impressive tally, which includes wins in 2-7 Lowball Draw, Razz (two), Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better, No-Limit Hold'em (two), and Limit Hold'em.

With this latest win, Seiver now has seven career bracelets, placing him alongside Billy Baxter, John Hennigan, Men "The Master" Nguyen, and Daniel Negreanu on the all-time WSOP bracelet list.

In his post-game interview, Seiver revealed his personal journey and aspirations at the World Series of Poker. He expressed his satisfaction after winning Event #72 but also shared his ambition to win a bracelet in every single discipline at the WSOP.

Seiver's current lead in the race for the 2024 WSOP Player of the Year title is about 400 points. However, his potential win of the title might require a little more work, as the competition is fierce. As of now, he is ahead of Jeremy Ausmus, with 3,757.01 points.

Seiver's impressive performance at the 2024 WSOP may also make him a lock for Poker Hall of Fame votes when he becomes eligible next year. His dedication, skill, and consistent success have solidified his place among the greats of the game.

Despite excelling in traditional casino-and-gambling events such as poker, Scott Seiver harbors ambitions to conquer sports-betting as well. Beyond his passion for casino-games like poker, Seiver aspires to win a World Series of Poker bracelet in every discipline, expanding his gambling horizons beyond the felt tables.
