Poker Tournament: European Poker Tour (EPT) in Montenegro Held in June 2017.
The PartyPoker EAPT Montenegro festival is in full swing, with an exciting lineup of poker events scheduled for the next 10 days. While we don't have the exact schedule for Day 2 yet, you can stay updated by checking the official PartyPoker or European Poker Tour (EPT) websites or their social media channels.
On Day 1A of the Merit Poker Cup, 71 players registered with 10 re-entries, totaling 81 entries. Alexander Knezevich is leading the pack with a chip count of 99,500. A total of 42 players survived Day 1A and will advance to Day 2.
The Merit Poker Cup, with a €550 buy-in and a €125,000 guaranteed prize pool, is one of the main events of the festival. Higher stakes are expected to be available for the Main Event, and the festival will also offer PL Omaha games at 1/2, 2/5, 5/5, and 5/10 limits with varying rake percentages and caps. NL Holdem games will be available at the same limits.
Cash game tables are available at €1/€2 and €5/€5 limits for those who prefer a more casual gaming experience.
The festival is taking place at Montenegro's largest poker festival, and the event is attracting some of the biggest names in poker. Among the attendees are Dmitriy Gromov, Anton Petrov, Igor Panchenko, Valentin Smiolenko, Vladimir Berezovsky, Alexander Maximov, and Stanislav Petriv.
Igor "mercator" Panchenko, an online poker regular with 5 million hands played, shared his live tournament experience. The Welcome Party will take place on the 10th floor of the hotel, through the casino, and onto the terrace tomorrow at 10 PM. The party will feature twin DJs, drinks, and giveaways.
