Poker tournament featuring PLO games under the Beer Poker Tour
Poker.pro and Beer Poker Tour Collaborate for Exciting PLO Tournament
The Beer Poker Tour, a unique event designed for recreational grassroots players, is set to return to Genting Casino Stratford, London from October 1-7. This time, the poker action is amplified with the collaboration between the Beer Poker Tour and poker.pro, the official media partner for the event.
Poker.pro will provide live reporting and updates from the Main Event and all tournaments during the event. Notably, the £150 poker.pro PLO4/5 tournament is scheduled to take place, with four starting-day flights between September 2-4. Each flight will have levels lasting 30 minutes, except for Day 1d, where levels will be 15 minutes. Late registration will be open during the first eight levels of each starting day flight.
The focus of the poker.pro PLO4/5/6 tournament is to create a lively atmosphere around the poker tables, aligning with the Beer Poker Tour's mission to offer a fun environment for players to play lower-stakes tournaments, socialize, and potentially enjoy beverages.
The tournament saw a significant turnout with 193 entries, resulting in a prize pool of £24,340. Slovenia's Ljubisa Nedimovic emerged victorious, outlasting players like Sam Acheampong to take home the title and a £6,290 first-place payout.
Glenn Brown, a poker host and Redtooth regional manager, and Christoffer Karlén, a live reporter and poker journalist, will represent poker.pro at the Beer Poker Tour in London. They will be on-site at Aspers Casino Stratford, providing live reporting and updates, starting from September 2, 2025.
Jason Glatzer, CEO of poker.pro, expressed his excitement about the collaboration with the Beer Poker Tour and hosting a branded tournament during the event. The Beer Poker Tour was founded by Merivan Hassan and Guillaume Diaz, and is known for its lively poker festivals, side games, and welcoming social vibe, attracting British grassroots players.
While the £185 Main Event is the highlight of the schedule, the £150 poker.pro PLO4/5 tournament is also intriguing. The third-ever Beer Poker Tour is sure to be an exciting event for all poker enthusiasts.
