Police apprehended two impaired drivers due to substance abuse.
In separate incidents on September 3, 2025, police in Warendorf and Ahlen took action against drivers found to be under the influence of drugs.
In Warendorf, a 22-year-old from Sendenhorst was stopped on Münsterstraße at midnight. Investigations were initiated against the driver, and blood samples were taken to confirm the suspicion. Meanwhile, in Ahlen, a 25-year-old from Hamm was stopped on Im Pattenmeicheln at 00:45. The driver was also found to be under the influence of drugs, and blood samples were taken. Investigations were initiated against the driver, and further details are not currently available.
