Police chief Hamm announces the arrival of 20 new recruits

On Monday, September 1st, the Hamm Police Headquarters played host to a significant event as 20 new employees were welcomed to the force. Among the attendees was Police Chaplain Marcus Nordhues, and Thomas Kubera, the President of the Hamm Police, who addressed the gathering.

In his speech, Kubera emphasised the police's primary responsibility, which is ensuring the safety of the city's people. He warmly welcomed the new recruits, all of whom joined the Hamm Police with freshly baked bachelor's degrees.

The new police officers have completed three years of study at the University of Applied Sciences for Police and Administration NRW, located in NRW. This prestigious institution has once again provided the Hamm Police with a talented group of officers.

In addition to the 13 new police officers, five more colleagues have transferred from other authorities to Hamm Police. One of these new additions is a historian, who will be deployed in the police stations Mitte and Bockum-Hövel, as well as in the criminal police and administration. This historian is joining Hamm Police as a parental leave replacement.

The Hamm Police Press Office can be reached via telephone at 02381 916-1006, email at [email protected], or on their website at https://hamm.polizei.nrw/.

The search results do not provide information about the five colleagues who were transferred by other authorities to Hamm. However, it is clear that these new additions will strengthen the Hamm Police force, contributing to their mission of keeping the city safe.
