Police detained individual accused of stealing a handbag in Poland

In the Kasseler district of Bad Wilhelmshöhe, a 14-year-old boy was accused of stealing an elderly woman's handbag from her rollator on a footpath between Bremelbachstraße and Straße Mittelbinge. The robbery took place at around 11:50 AM on Friday afternoon.

The elderly woman, an 89-year-old, had withdrawn a three-digit amount of cash from an ATM before the theft. However, thanks to a courageous 32-year-old jogger from Kassel, the handbag, including the stolen cash, was returned to its rightful owner.

The jogger, who was passing by, witnessed the theft and bravely pursued the suspect. The suspect was pursued towards Heerstraße and tried to hide in some bushes near an underpass, but the jogger managed to confront him and bring him back to the scene of the crime.
