Police Force undergoes fresh recruitment: Training Division begins new intake at Hagen, ushering in 279 new officers for the future of the police department.
On Monday, 1st September 2025, a significant event took place in Naumann Hall, Hohenlimburg. A total of 279 aspiring students, including 8 trainee government inspectors, were warmly welcomed to their new chapter in life.
The occasion marked the end of the welcome event and the start of a diverse, challenging, and formative three-year journey. The new intake was officially welcomed by Police President Ursula Tomahogh and the training leadership.
The students, now referred to as provisional officers, were awarded certificates during the event. Upon successful completion, trainee police commissioners will be appointed as police commissioners and receive the academic title of Bachelor of Arts. The trainee government inspectors will also undergo a study program and receive the academic title of Bachelor of Laws.
The study programs are designed to prepare students for their future tasks. The programs combine theory, training, and practice, ensuring a well-rounded education. The students felt a sense of relief after the appointment, ready to embark on their new journey.
