On August 31, 2025, at 6:15 PM, a traffic accident occurred in Fulda, Germany, at the turnaround loop of Olympiastrasse. The incident involved a city bus and a cyclist who was later hospitalized due to serious injuries.

According to the cyclist's account, he initially passed the bus, which was stopped at a bus stop. However, as an oncoming car approached, the cyclist was pushed against the curb by the bus and fell, resulting in the collision.

The bus driver involved in the accident has not been publicly named, but the Police Headquarters East Hesse (PHK Weinrich) is conducting an investigation into the incident.
