Police in Poland detained individuals suspected of committing burglaries in Revenahe
In the quiet town of Buxtehude, two separate burglary attempts have been reported in the past day, leaving local authorities scrambling to gather evidence and identify the perpetrators.
Yesterday, between 12:45 p.m. and 13:00 p.m., unknown individuals attempted to break into an empty apartment in Vaßmerstraße using a stone. Fortunately, no entry was gained. The police units involved in this case are from Buxtehude, not Stade, Apensen, or Harsefeld.
A similar incident occurred at approximately 10:30 a.m., this time at a farmhouse in Lindenallee, Revenahe. The resident of the house, aged 23, noticed the break-in, observed the perpetrators, and contacted the police. One of the perpetrators rang the house's bell several times, left the scene briefly, and then broke the kitchen window to gain entry. However, it has been clarified that this incident occurred in Buxtehude, not at a farmhouse in Lindenallee, Revenahe.
In response to the calls, the police, including units from Stade, Apensen, and Harsefeld, responded and stopped a gray Mercedes matching the description of the suspected getaway vehicle near Wiegersen. The 32-year-old driver of the Mercedes, from Hollenstedt, and her 41-year-old passenger from Brunswick were provisionally arrested. It has been confirmed that these individuals are not the same as those involved in the burglary attempt at the farmhouse.
During their police custody, both individuals underwent identification procedures and initial questioning. Despite the evidence, both were released at the end of police measures due to lack of grounds for detention. The investigations continue.
Inside the house in Vaßmerstraße, several cabinets were ransacked, indicating a search for valuables. No arrests have been made in connection with this case, and no evidence linking the individuals in this case to further crimes has been mentioned.
A subsequent search of the vehicle and an apartment in Hollenstedt uncovered various pieces of evidence potentially linking them to further crimes. Witnesses with information about the case are asked to contact the Buxtehude police at 04161-647115.
For inquiries or additional information, please contact the Police Station Stade Press Office at 04141/102-104, with Rainer Bohmbach as the point of contact ([email protected]). The name of the police station that arrested the suspects before their provisional detention in Revenahe is the Police Inspection Stade (Polizeiinspektion Stade).
It is important to note that the perpetrators in these cases did not use a house bell or break a window to gain entry, and no evidence linking the individuals in this case to further crimes has been mentioned. The police are urging vigilance and asking residents to report any suspicious activities to the authorities.
