Police in Poland report that social activist Sozia sustained injuries in an accident
In the heart of Selm, on August 20, 2025, a traffic accident occurred at the intersection of "Zum Sundern" street on Waltroper Straße. The incident involved a motorcycle, a car, and a cyclist.
The motorcycle was traveling from Selm towards Waltrop when a sudden braking action by a 35-year-old driver from Lünen caused a collision. The motorcycle driver, a 48-year-old resident of Lünen, was injured but was treated and later released from the hospital.
Unfortunately, the 18-year-old passenger on the motorcycle sustained severe injuries and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. The identity of the driver involved in the accident has not been disclosed publicly, according to the available sources.
Meanwhile, a 43-year-old cyclist from Lünen was attempting to cross the road from the bike path at the time of the accident, which occurred approximately at 15:55.
