Police nabbed a man in possession of marijuana in the town of Anapa.
In the coastal town of Anapa, a 32-year-old local resident has been taken into custody by transport police officers, suspected of illegal drug trafficking. The arrest comes as part of an ongoing investigation, details of which were recently announced by the press service of the Anapa Transport Police Department.
During a search of the suspect's home, a total of 25.4 grams of an unspecified substance, packaging materials, and a marijuana plant being grown for personal use were seized. Furthermore, five packets of a substance that tested positive for N-methylenedrone, weighing 1.39 grams in total, were found at locations connected to the suspect.
Operatives also discovered coordinates of "drop-off" points in the suspect's phone, suggesting a network of activities under investigation. The case has taken an unexpected turn with the involvement of another individual, Anastasia Klyueva, who is now mentioned in the context of the ongoing probe.
The suspect, whose personal use of marijuana was not mentioned, has been charged with trafficking in large quantities of illegal drugs. Despite the request for house arrest by Aglaia Tarasova, who was caught with drugs, the suspect was remanded in custody.
