Police seeking individual who allegedly spat on Tim Hortons worker during a hate-driven attack

In a disturbing incident that took place on July 19, around 6 a.m., a man is wanted by police for an alleged hate-motivated assault at a Tim Hortons on Lakeshore Road near Lakefront Prominade in Mississauga.

The man, who has not been publicly named, is described as white with a heavy build. He was wearing a baseball cap, an orange or red shirt with white writing that resembles the 'Coca-Cola' logo, dark pants, and light-coloured shoes.

In the video released by the police, the man is seen accosting a Tim Hortons employee and grabbing something off a machine behind the counter. He then handed a coffee to the employee, but instead of leaving peacefully, he yelled a racial slur and allegedly spit at the employee.

The police have emphasized that the man's behavior is not acceptable in Canadian society and have urged anyone with information to contact detectives at 905-453-2121, ext. 6092, or Crime Stoppers anonymously.

The man's behavior and the things he said during the assault indicate ulterior intentions, and the police believe someone knows his identity. They have also released audio of the incident to capture the man's voice.

The assault is being investigated as hate-motivated, and the police are continuing to track the vehicle on various cameras along its path until the licence plate is visible. The man left the scene in a white four-door Ford commercial truck with a black dump chassis at the back.

The police have urged the public to come forward with any information they may have, as they are determined to bring the perpetrator to justice. They have emphasized that hate crimes will not be tolerated in Canadian society and that everyone has the right to feel safe and respected.
