Possible festival attacks and Jewish community targeted? - A 15-year-old in Wuppertal detained for alleged plotting

In a significant development in the ongoing investigation, the Wuppertal District Court ordered the detention on remand of a suspect on September 20. The order came after an evaluation of the suspect's mobile phone, which revealed incriminating chats with the alleged mastermind of the case.

The suspect was provisionally arrested by the police on September 1 during a memorial event in Solingen. However, the suspect was released again shortly after the event due to insufficient evidence. The memorial event was held to commemorate the tragic terrorist attack on the Fronhof, which resulted in three deaths.

It is important to note that the suspect who was arrested provisionally on August 24 in a shelter on Kronprinzenstraße in Solingen is a different individual.

The exact course and possible connections to terrorist networks are still pending, with further details yet to be disclosed. Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and other top politicians were present at the memorial event.

The investigations into the case are ongoing, and no verified information about who contacted the alleged mastermind behind the chat functions of the 15-year-old from Wuppertal has been made public.

The public is reminded to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the authorities. As the investigation continues, updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
