The Mexico City Metro will be implementing Operation Zero Fireworks 2025 from September 9 to 17, with a focus on enhancing security at several key stations and terminals during the patriotic celebrations.
Stations such as Fray Servando, Merced, Candelaria, Jamaica, Allende, Zócalo, Pino Suárez, Bellas Artes, Balderas, Salto del Agua, Indios Verdes, Cuatro Caminos, and their terminals will receive special attention due to their higher risk status, as these areas are frequently associated with the exchange of fireworks.
Authorities urge citizens to refrain from bringing fireworks into the Metro during the celebrations, as violators may face fines and arrests.
