Prankster on YouTube feigned identity as Kate Middleton whistleblower, fooling Tucker Carlson.
In a series of audacious pranks, British YouTubers Josh Pieters and Archie Manners have managed to deceive several high-profile figures, including Tucker Carlson, Kensington Palace, and controversial personality Katie Hopkins.
The most recent prank targeted Tucker Carlson, who was led to believe he was interviewing a Kensington Palace whistleblower. The prank video, produced by Pieters and Manners themselves, has not been suppressed by YouTube, despite speculation to the contrary. However, it has only managed to garner 72,000 views, significantly lower than their other prank videos. No statement has been made by YouTube regarding the video's low views.
Carlson has not been interviewed about the prank as of the time of this article, and neither he nor his team has made a statement regarding the incident. The prank does not appear to have caused any more rumors to spread or caused disinformation to be shown to Tucker Carlson's 12.6 million followers on X.
Pieters and Manners' pranks have not only targeted high-profile figures but have also stirred controversy. One such instance was when they forged Kensington Palace employment documents for a prank that involved posing as a digital content creator for the palace. The forged documents included a clause about amputation if Manners failed his probation period.
The prank involving a Mother's Day image featuring Kate Middleton and her children fueled conspiracy theories. The image, which was later pulled from circulation by several major photo agencies due to concerns of manipulation, was claimed by Manners to have led to his firing for poor editing.
One of their most successful pranks involved flying Katie Hopkins to Prague for a fake award, which garnered over 8 million views. Despite the controversy and success of their pranks, it seems that Pieters and Manners are not slowing down anytime soon.
In a twist of events, Middleton's team later suggested that she had edited the Mother's Day image herself, adding to the intrigue surrounding the pranksters' antics. As they continue to push the boundaries of pranking, one thing is for certain - Pieters and Manners are not afraid to make waves in the world of high-profile pranks.
