Prepare for the Mushroom Kingdom-styled Splatfest, complete with the potential to claim a reward!
Get ready for an exciting in-game event, as the Splatoon 2 Splatfest Online Challenge is now open for all Inklings and Octolings! This Mushroom Kingdom crossover event, taking place from 1/15 2 p.m. PT to 1/17 2 p.m. PT, pits Super Mushroom against Super Star in a Turf War battle extravaganza.
To participate, you'll need to own Splatoon 2, have a Nintendo Switch system, a reliable high-speed internet connection, and a Nintendo Switch Online membership. Sign-ups are mandatory to win the commemorative Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary coin, one of the event's prizes.
A total of 70 winners will receive these special coins (ARV $10 USD each). Plus, by participating in the Splatfest, you'll have a chance to win a Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary coin as well!

The theme of this Splatfest is inspired by the classic Super Mario Bros. world, with players choosing to champion either Super Mushroom or Super Star. The skill of participating players will determine the winner(s) of the Splatoon 2 Splatfest Online Challenge.
Remember, the winning side of the Splatfest will be declared at the end. The Splatoon 2 Splatfest Online Challenge is open to legal residents of the US, Canada, and Mexico who are 13+ (US and Canada) and 18+ (Mexico).
