Privalia Appoints Víctor del Pozo as Global Logistics Chief

Privalia, the Spanish fashion e-commerce company, has strengthened its logistics department by appointing Víctor del Pozo as its new global logistics chief. Del Pozo, a graduate in Naval Engineering, brings with him a wealth of experience from the logistics industry.

Del Pozo has spent the last 8 years working at DHL Supply Chain, where he honed his skills in logistics management. Prior to that, he worked for CVC and CTC Ingeniería Dedicada.

Del Pozo will be responsible for logistics in five markets: Spain, Italy, Brazil, Mexico, and Germany. Privalia, which is diversifying into travel and increasing its activity in fashion, expects this appointment to help streamline its operations and improve customer service.

Antonio Grau, the corporate general director of Privalia, expressed his excitement about Del Pozo's appointment. "Víctor's extensive experience in logistics and his ability to manage complex operations make him the perfect fit for this role," Grau said.

Del Pozo will report to Grau and will work closely with Privalia's co-CEOs, Lucas Carné and José Manuel Villanueva. Privalia operates in three business units: Privalia, dress-for-less, and Claire+Bruce.

Privalia, which was founded in 2006, has seen significant growth in recent years. The company expects to close 2011 with a turnover of 336 million euros. With Del Pozo's appointment, Privalia is poised to continue its growth trajectory and expand its presence in the global market.

Del Pozo, who holds a master's degree in Industrial Production Engineering and Plant Management and a postgraduate degree in Environmental Consulting, is excited about his new role. "I am thrilled to join Privalia and help drive its growth in the logistics department," Del Pozo said. "I look forward to working with the team and contributing to the company's success."

As of current information, the new CEO of logistics at Privalia, who previously worked at DHL Supply Chain, is not publicly specified. However, with Del Pozo's appointment, Privalia is well-positioned to continue its growth and success in the e-commerce industry.
