Probe into the Fire Incident Causing Unrest Among Youths

In the small town of Kürten, North Rhine-Westphalia, an incident of property damage and trespassing has taken place, and the investigation is currently underway.

The site of the incident has been secured, and images were taken at the scene to aid in the investigation. Unauthorized individuals gained access to the building, and there was evidence of smoking inside. However, no fire was found by the responding forces, and fire extinguishers had been discharged.

Four juveniles were encountered during the investigation. The four youths possibly connected to the incident are a 14-year-old girl from Cologne, a 16-year-old girl from Bergisch-Gladbach, and two 19-year-old males from Bergisch-Gladbach and Overath. Tragically, they were passengers who died in a car crash near the site, where a 16-year-old male driver survived with serious injuries.

Charges of property damage and trespassing have been filed against the juveniles. The extent of property damage is still unknown, and the investigation continues to gather more information.

The authorities urge anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward and contact the local police. As the investigation progresses, updates will be provided to keep the community informed.
