Producer of War of the Worlds defends poorly received Ice Cube film, asserting it was well-made given budget constraints: "Created a pretty decent movie considering the resources available."

In the realm of streaming entertainment, the alien invasion screenlife movie, "Ice Cube's War of the Worlds Adaptation," is currently available on Amazon Prime Video. However, the film has received a 2% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, placing it among the worst movies of all time.

Despite the negative reception, the film's producer, Patrick Aiello, has come forward to defend the production. Aiello, who also produced the critically acclaimed "War of the Worlds" by Timur Bekmambetov, asserted that they intended to make a good movie. He reiterated, "No one sets out to make a bad movie. Period."

Ice Cube plays a Department of Homeland Security surveillance and threat assessment expert in the movie, adding a unique twist to the classic tale. Aiello believes that if the movie becomes one of the most-watched on Amazon's platform, they will have been victorious.

However, Amazon does not release its streaming viewership figures for "War of the Worlds," making it difficult to gauge the film's popularity. Aiello expressed disappointment that the movie was hated or piled on, but he remains optimistic, stating, "We'll be fine."

Despite the negative Rotten Tomatoes score, Aiello believes they made a good movie for the budget they had. He stated that they were only trying to entertain with the movie, and he expressed regret that some viewers did not enjoy it as much as they had hoped.

Aiello also addressed the criticism head-on, stating that they were only trying to make a movie that would appeal to a wide audience. He reiterated his optimism, stating, "We intended to make a good movie," and expressed hope that viewers would give the film a chance.

In conclusion, "Ice Cube's War of the Worlds Adaptation" may have received a low rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but its producer stands by the film and believes that it was a good movie for the budget they had. The film is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video, and viewers are encouraged to watch it and form their own opinions.
