A tragic incident took place on Sunday evening in Recklinghausen, as a 36-year-old driver from Reken lost his life in an accident on Wulfener Straße.

According to the latest updates from Police Headquarters Recklinghausen, the accident occurred around 8:45 PM. Upon arrival of the emergency services, resuscitation efforts were initiated, but unfortunately, the driver passed away at the scene.

The vehicle involved in the accident was impounded, and the road was closed in both directions due to the accident and the ongoing investigation. The road remains closed as the special unit "Kriminalhauptkommissariat Verkehr" of the Police Headquarters Recklinghausen continues to investigate the cause of the accident.
