In Week 35 of 2025, the South East Hesse Police Headquarters will be stepping up speed control measures to ensure the safety of road users.

The Traffic Division of the South East Hesse Police Headquarters will be responsible for enforcing speed limits. For press inquiries, the Press Office can be reached at Spessartring 61, 6313071 Offenbach am Main, via email at [email protected], or by phone at 069 / 8098 - 1210 (collective number). The Press Office's contact details, as well as other information, can also be found on their website: www.polizei.hessen.de/ppsoh.

Speed control points will be set up at high-risk areas and schools. Specific locations include Bad Orb, A66 towards Hanau, and Gründau-Rothenbergen, K 903 towards Rothenbergen. Another high-risk area is the stretch of the A66 towards Hanau in Bad Orb.

It's important to note that construction on K854 in Erlensee and the B448 towards Offenbach will end on 22.08.2025, making these routes high-risk areas during that time.

Obertshausen, Tempelhofer Straße towards Friedrich-Ebert-Straße, is a school route, and safe driving is especially crucial in such areas. For press inquiries related to this, Claudia Benneckenstein can be reached at cb - 1212 or 0152 / 066 23109, while Felix Geis and Maximilian Edelbluth can be reached at fg - 1211 or 0162 / 201 3806, and me - 1213 or 0173 / 5636097, respectively.

The South East Hesse Police Headquarters encourages safe driving for all road users during this period and beyond. The speed control measures aim to ensure the safety of road users during their journeys.
