Prospective Class of 2028 Attendees Roam Holy Cross during Admission Event Day
Holy Cross College Welcomes the Class of 2028 and 2029
Holy Cross College recently hosted two significant events for incoming students, Admitted Students Day for the Class of 2028 on April 14th, 2023, and Accepted Students Day for the Class of 2029 on April 13th, 2023.
During the Admitted Students Day, approximately 500 students had the opportunity to visit the college and learn more about its offerings. The day was filled with informative sessions and activities designed to help students make their college decision.
Orientation Leaders, SPUD Interns, Site Leaders, Varsity Teams, Campus Activity Board (CAB) members, Relationship Peer Educators, and many more worked together to move students around and ensure they had a smooth experience.
President Rougeau welcomed students to Holy Cross during the event, while sessions such as "Living the Mission" and "Power of Purple" provided insights into the Holy Cross experience and the college's mission, as well as campus support and career preparation after graduation.
Students also attended academic sessions and a browsing fair to learn about majors, academic programs, clubs, and programs on campus. The "Living the Mission" session focused on how students can live the college's mission, while the "Power of Purple" session discussed campus support and career preparation after graduation.
Aurora Voas, a member of the Class of 2028, expressed positive feedback about the event, stating it was an amazing opportunity to see what life on campus will be like for the next four years.
Following the Admitted Students Day, Holy Cross College hosted the Accepted Students Day for the Class of 2029. However, the search results did not provide information about the president of Holy Cross who attended this event.
During the day, students took tours of campus and residence halls, and many students have developed habits for academic success after two-and-a-half months on campus this year. Mid-term exams have concluded, allowing students to reflect on habits that have benefited them in their academic and extracurricular activities.
Finally, on August 21, Holy Cross will host Orientation for the Class of 2028, marking the official start of their college journey. The Class of 2028 had the opportunity to sign the Class of 2028 banner, which showcases the diversity of students' high schools and towns.
As Holy Cross College continues to welcome new students, it is clear that the college community is committed to providing a supportive and enriching environment for all.
