Protester causes commotion on Wiesbaden school premises
On Sunday morning, August 31, an unusual event unfolded at a school located on Bierstadter Height, Wiesbaden-Bierstadt. The Westhessen Police Headquarters reported the incident, which saw the deployment of officers to the school premises.
Upon arrival, the police found a man on the school grounds. It was later revealed that the man had illegally entered the school property. As the officers approached, the man suddenly became aggressive, violently resisting and assaulting them. He attempted to bite the police officers, and in the ensuing struggle, the man sustained minor injuries.
Despite the man's aggressive behaviour, all responding officers remained unharmed during the incident. It took several officers to subdue and overpower the man using physical force. The man spent the night on the school grounds before being taken to a psychiatric clinic in Wiesbaden.
