Ukraine has reported the rescue of a "large group" of Ukrainian children from the Russian-occupied territories. However, tensions remain high as Ukrainian General Staff reports 960 losses of Russian forces in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of killed or wounded Russian soldiers since the beginning of President Putin's full-scale invasion of Ukraine to 1,087,180. Ukraine's military intelligence assesses there are currently 700,000 Russian soldiers stationed in the country.

Russia, on the other hand, strictly rejects Western troops in Ukraine but apparently tolerates the country's accession to the EU. Russian President Vladimir Putin has called on the domestic industry to develop new engines for carrier rockets, aiming to meet domestic needs and assert Russia on world markets.

In a positive development, US President Trump expects the release of numerous political prisoners in Belarus, following a conversation with President Alexander Lukashenko. However, three people were killed in Ukrainian drone attacks in the border region of Belgorod, according to Russian reports.

Lastly, Ukrainian special forces reportedly disabled a Russian radar system in the Black Sea, along with the destruction of a Russian boat and an electronic warfare station, although the video evidence cannot be independently verified. A Russian drone allegedly dropped fake money over the Ukrainian city of Chernihiv, urging people to reveal coordinates and help target the Ukrainian army.

As the crisis in Ukraine continues, the international community remains engaged, with various nations announcing sanctions, offering aid, and expressing their hopes for a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
