Weekly Poker Roundup: Kazakhstani Players Shining Bright
Last week was a triumphant one for poker enthusiasts hailing from Kazakhstan! Our forum regulars bagged a handful of impressive finishes in numerous tournaments across PokerStars and LotosPoker.
Sunday Warm-Up saw one cash finish - "HateLimpAA" patiently navigated through 307 other competitors to secure a 308th place finish, pocketing a cool $321.30.
In the Sunday Million on PokerStars, an impressive 5,704 participants created a whopping prize pool of $1,140,800! Two of our players managed to make it in the money: "djoniwillwin" got $387.87 for a 525th place finish, and "LuckyRin" took home an impressive $1,083.76 for hitting the 104th spot.
"vip25459" showcased a stellar performance by finishing 22nd in the Sunday Bigger, winning $820.80.
Making a splash in LotosPoker's Friday Challenge, "Erosha30" fought fiercely to land a 7th place finish, winning an impressive $805.36.
"LeoRai" navigated skillfully through the Sunday Breeze's 874 entrants, clinching the 104th spot and a $91.77 payout.
On the popular Mega Dozen tournament on LotosPoker, four of our players managed to cash out: "XTramontana" secured a 218th place and pocketed $26.16, "Oligarxus" landed the 20th spot for a $31.40 win, "NeCatanen" took home $31.40 for a 115th place finish, and "Masterstvo_" impressed everyone with a 47th place finish, earning $57.57.
The October stage of the LotosPoker Cup is heating up, with "Blazhko1" currently holding the only Kazakhstani spot on the leaderboard, vying for a coveted $200 bonus.
