In the heart of North Rhine-Westphalia, the small town of Nettetal is home to a vibrant community of dedicated volunteers. These individuals, who form the backbone of a thriving city society, have been recognised with the Ehrenamtskarte and Jubiläumsehrenamtskarte awards.
Sophie Lindackers, a committed member of the Red Cross, has been making a difference in the rescue and care service. Her selfless work has earned her a respected position as the speaker of the honorary department in the Volunteer Fire Department Nettetal.

The Ehrenamtskarte NRW and the Jubiläumsehrenamtskarte are tokens of appreciation for exceptional volunteer work. If you are an active citizen and have been volunteering for at least three years, five hours a week, you too can apply for the Ehrenamtskarte.
