Recreational activities planned for the upcoming summer season at St. Spiritus

At the St. Spiritus socio-cultural centre, this summer promises a delightful array of activities for children.

Every week of the holidays, older children from the age of 7 can participate in traditional crafts workshops, held from Tuesday to Thursday, between 10 am and 12 pm. Activities include printing, felting with colourful wool, building drums, and a book workshop where paper is marbled and made into folders.

For those who prefer a more theatrical experience, a children's theater performance takes place every Friday at 10 am. The performances include popular tales such as "Jack and the Beanstalk", "Little Sparrow Friedrich" from "Rats' Sparrow", Alice from Wonderland, and the famous seven goats. The Schnuppe puppet theater fans can also watch "Fire Station Cold Coffee" and the new play "Island Ahoy".

Admission for adults is €7 (€5 reduced), while children pay €5. Seats can be reserved in advance by calling 03834 85364444, and tickets can be purchased on site at St. Spiritus.

It's important to note that the price does not include admission to the theater performances. However, accompanying persons from groups of 10 or more have free admission.

Parents or grandparents can participate in the workshops if there are enough places available. The entire holiday program can be found on the St. Spiritus website: Summer Holiday Program 2025.

The workshops take place on the courtyard stage, but may move to the hall if the weather is unfavourable. Registration is required and can be done by calling the same number. Each morning session costs €3 or €5 per child.

So, whether your child enjoys crafting or theatre, there's something for everyone at St. Spiritus this summer!
