Redirection of Tram Line 8 due to flea market on Burgstraße

In the city of Halle, a temporary tram stop has been established to ensure smooth transportation for passengers using tram line 8 on September 7, 2025. The Hallesche Verkehrs-AG (HAVAG) has organised this measure due to a flea market taking place in Burgstraße.

The replacement stop is situated at the intersection of Bernburger Straße/Mühlweg. This stop is not part of the normal route for tram line 8 on this day, but it is an essential addition to the diversion route, which will go through Reileck, Landesmuseum, and Triftstraße.

The diversion for tram line 8 will start from Burg Giebichenstein/Hermannstraße and the replacement stop is situated along this route. However, it is important to note that this replacement stop is not the final destination of the diversion route.

The restrictions on tram line 8 will affect both directions of the line from 10 am to 6 pm on September 7, 2025. During this period, the stops at Mühlweg, Diakoniewerk Halle, and Volkspark will not be served.

It is worth mentioning that the replacement stop at Bernburger Straße/Mühlweg is not part of the affected area of tram line 8 in Halle on September 7, 2025, nor is it part of the restrictions that occur from 10 am to 6 pm on this day.

Passengers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and check the latest updates from HAVAG to ensure a smooth commute on September 7, 2025.
