The city of Arnsberg is preparing for the upcoming elections for the Youth Welfare Committee, scheduled to take place after the local elections in September 2025. The newly elected members will play a vital role in advising, deciding, and participating in discussions regarding the affairs of children and young people in Arnsberg during the next term.

Anyone interested in joining the Youth Welfare Committee must meet certain prerequisites. They must be at least 18 years old and have been living in the city for at least three months. Additionally, a personal deputy must be submitted simultaneously with a candidate for the Youth Welfare Committee in Arnsberg.

Youth associations and recognized free carriers of youth welfare can submit suggestions for the circle of voting members to the city administration. The deadline for submitting candidates is October 6, 2025.

Once the local elections are over, the factions will determine which council members will join the Youth Welfare Committee.
