The 18th Kellenhusen Discgolf Open is gearing up for an exciting event on July 5th and 6th, 2025, at the Ostsee Discgolf Kellenhusen, one of the largest disc golf courses in Germany. This tournament, part of the German Tour 2025, promises a thrilling weekend of competition and camaraderie for disc golf enthusiasts.
Notable participants include Timo Hartmann, a multiple German champion and vice-world champion with the German team, and Simon Lizotte, another multiple German champion and vice world champion with the German national team. Their presence is sure to add an extra layer of anticipation to the event.
The competition will feature categories for Ladies, Ladies M40, Juniors, Open, Masters 40, Masters 50, Masters 60, and Masters 70, ensuring a diverse and inclusive field. The Open class finals will take place over nine specially selected holes on Sunday at 12:30 pm, following the division finals. The Open final will follow later in the day.
To add to the festivities, a disc golf party is scheduled for Saturday, July 5th, at 7 pm at the watersports center on the southern beach. DJ Tomtom will provide music, and grilled food, cheese baguettes, and cold drinks will be available.
The event will kick off each day at 9:30 am on Saturday and 9 am on Sunday. On July 4th, doubles (partners of choice) will be played as a warm-up, starting at 1 pm. The awards ceremony for the Open is scheduled for Sunday at 3:30 pm.
